Kildallon Spring Fair

Kildallon was full of music, colour, and excitement at the Kildallon Spring Fair on Saturday, November 1. Hundreds of visitors filled the grounds as we celebrated all the great creative and educational activities that take place at Kildallon Education Centre.

Performances included the Mudgee Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, and String Group, Mudgee Performing Arts Society and the Cudgegong Youth Theatre, and demonstrations from U3A’s Tai Chi and Line Dancing classes. The Spring art exhibition was open in the Country Universities Centre, and the Cudgegong Camera Club exhibited the work of talented local photographers. For kids there was face painting by Mudgee High’s Year 12 students, story-time, a scavenger hunt with Mudgee Readers’ Festival, musical statues, and chalk art. And of course the cake stall and barbecue kept us all fed!

The Spring Fair is the beginning of the Kildallon Events Calendar, an exciting four-year program of events for the groups based at Kildallon. The Kildallon Events Calendar is proudly funded by the NSW Government, through EnergyCo’s Community and Employment Benefit Program. So the Spring Fair will be back and bigger than ever next year, along with youth theatre, visiting speakers, art exhibitions, and more throughout the year.
